A very special strong woman and you can do it..,its going to be tough. If he gets sent to Iraq be supportive and no jealousy letters or head games.,.remember they have so much going on around them day in and day out, remind him how much you need him.And love him with all your heart even if hes injured..,alot of women leave after something happens to a soldier, airman, marine, navy man..,just be there for him and I commend you and thank you for the sacrifice you also bear.God speed and tell him thank you for me.

i am a military wife, my husband is deployed and has been since nov of 05. its really rough to be apart, you can make it go in the direction of strengthening your relationship, or tearing it apart. we are stronger.

don't count on anything the military tells them as far as dates for leave or deployment or days off. be a little pessimistic when it comes to such matters...that way you find yourself more happily surprised than let down. be strong when you need to be and support him in his job.

good luck!

It depends on what his mos is. If it is a security type job, just know that you will know very little. If its a regular job like admin, supply or something of that sort than its like a a regular job. It just depends.
