Is it possible that using toothpaste with peroxide in it could make my teeth sensitive? Has this ever happened to anyone?

When someone comes to me and complains of new sensitivity, the first thing I ask is what kind of toothpaste they are using. 9 times out of 10, they say that they recently started to use a whitening toothpaste. They are well-known for that. Just stop using it and go back to your "bland" normal toothpaste. If you are still sensitive after a week or so, get Crest Sensitivity formula toothpaste and use that and nothing else for at least 3 or 4 weeks. If you area STILL sensitive, go ask your dentist about getting some fluoride for home use.

yes it can...

the peroxide can actually make your tooth enamel porous which makes the teeth more sensitive to hot and cold things...

try giving the peroxide toothepast a break for a while or switch to a whitening toothpast w/out the peroxide in it. you can also use sensodyne toothpaste-it's made especially for sensitive teeth and they carry a whitening formula

Get toothpaste with fluoride. That is the best to keep your teeth strong. Peroxide cleans, but it is not good for the teeth.

It's possible. Peroxide is an alaki an a oxidizer, which means it is acidic and could attack the porcelain on your teeth making them sensitive.
