Yes, it's called " Glutathione". You can find it in a reputable Health Food Store, it's technically not an Amino Acid, but may be sold in the same section with Amino Acids. It is also a powerful antioxidant. It reduces the craving for alcohol, but it also protects your liver. ( Do not mistake it for Glutamic acid) You need to take 3,000 mg of Glutathione on a daily basis on an empty stomach, you can take it all at once or divide it up thru the day.
Also Valerian root will help calm you when you get anxious, which may cause you to drink.

Hi,

Actually, you dun need a herbal remedy.

What you need is just a replacement and some adjustment of your mindsets.

Try sucking sweets or eating something like an apple whenever you have craving for alchohol.

Or think about the feeling that drinking gives you. Is there anything healthy you can do to replace it and get the same feeling? Eg, dancing? Listening to music?

No. Anabuse works, anti-depressants, tranqs, and get into AA. They are a great group, lots of support, and you will NEVER be sorry you joined. Get your life back and get alcoholims out of it. You are giving good years away down a bottle. Goood luck.
