You should do some exercises or yoga read some tips and articles on it on this site make yourself tired by doing it than youll feel sleepy

a number of things can keep you from sleeping-anxiety,stress,caffeine,too much sugar,etc.
things that will help are:
-try writing down all the things you have to do the next day before going to bed-this will help get your mind off of them.
-come up with a routine and stick to it.
-take a warm shower or bath and lie down to read a book or watch tv for a little while before bed. try to stay off the computer-it stresses your eyes out and will keep you awake.
-don't do anything strenous an hour before going to bed-this will help relax the body and slow down your heartrate and blood pressure to help you sleep
-no caffeine or alcohol 1 hour before bed
if those don't seem to help-you can try taking tylenol pm or benadryl 30 minutes before bed. these are non-habit forming and will help you sleep.
