You will have to take it slower than you want. Take this opportunity to build your endurance. Take that 1 hour walk and then in a week, build up to an hour and 15 minutes. Empower yourself. Make sure you drink lots of water and don't eat late at night. You can eat cereal for 2 meals of the day and only snack on fruit.
The world will not stop if you go back to school having only lost 5 pounds but you can lose the rest in a couple of weeks. It should only take about 1 month to lose 10 pounds any way you look at it.
Good luck.

Oh my feckin gawd.
You can prob only loose 5 pounds before then, but you can keep working on it after that. Don't just drink water or starve yourself, that's just idiotic and everyone knows it wont work.
Just eat small meals every three hours and try to do something to work out every day... sit ups, running, walking the dogs, cleaning, weights, pilates. You want to use more calories than you take in. But don't starve yourself. If you do that your body just goes "oh **** i'm starving" and stores EVEN MORE FAT because it thinks you're going to need it! That's why frequent small meals work. You're body gets used to a reliable intake of calories so it doesn't worry about storing them.
Be sure to drink water and eat a wide variety of foods. None of this weirdo diet bullshit. The food pyramid was put together by dieticians and scientists who knew what they were talking about.
Try eating out of smaller dishes to control your portion sizes. Eliminating pop and chips is an easy thing to do I think, because once you're off them for a while you realize that they don't taste that good.
The first 5 should leave pretty quickly, the rest will come off more slowly, but it will come off. Make sure you feel healthy, you don't want to be too big or too little if it means you feel horrible.
Good luck and please be as safe as possible about dieting :D

It isn't possible to lose weight 'fast.' It takes time and it's not healthy to lose over 2 pounds a week. A pound of fat is 3500 calories. Eat healthier and if you have an urge to have a snack eat veggies or fruit. Before every emal have a glass of water to frink and eat slower so you realize you're full faster. Excerise daily.

Loosing weight fast can be fatal. I really do not think that this route is a smart one. So many people request this and land up sorry. Also you should now is that the faster you looser ! double as fast to regain this back. Why don't you talk to your Doctor and let him give you a referral that can gradually help you loose excess weight.

hi
This programme really helped me loose a lot of weight so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
Formulate your own weight loss plan and you will lose weight faster. More details available at http://tinyurl.com/m7ckx
Good luck

You know the drill - don't eat too much, exersise some more.
Try not eating anything at all 4 hour before bed time. This really works for me. It work fast, too. This way, your body processes everything you consumed during the day. You wake up with vely light stomach and you don't over-eat on the next day. It really seems too easy, but why life should be hard...

One good way to start is by working out and building muscles.
Even when you're not moving, your muscle cells actually help in burning off extra calories. So imagine what muscles AND working out will do!
I also do not recommend such a significant weight loss in such a short period of time.

calm down! All you have to do is eat right, and exercise. Salads, and a good portion meals. Try not snacking, or overeating. I hope this helps you get into shape. Do sit ups, they help you around the abs, and push ups are good too, they help you build muscle, and lose fat around the arms.
