I guess I am asking if you ever feel like you are home in your heart or do you always feel like you are wandering looking for a sense of home? I find that as soon as I move into a house I start thinking about moving out. I hope this question makes sense. I was wondering if I was the only one. Thanks.

I had 2 parents that loved me very much.
BUT - my mom really favored THE GOLDEN BOY - her only son. She still does. It hurt then and it stings now.

I have a great life - because I CHOSE to be different.
I have 4 kids that I love and like equally. (I swore on my life to my mom that I do not have a favorite child and she won't believe me!) I have a husband I put first and I make this a happy home.

My mom loves me the best she can. She would do anything for me but has a stronger feeling for my brother. and my sister and I accept that. What are we going to do anyway. She is a good mom.

Do the best you can for YOUR family. Don't repeat your parents mistakes and your life WILL be better. I promise. The hurt will be there but you will be so happy with your present that the past seems less important.

It feels homeless when you don't have a family living with. You tend to go to a cheerful place meet everyone in the crowd and laugh with them until you drop but the truth is all you want to do is cry.
