I'm sure I'm gonna regret this question in this category, most of all...
But here goes:
..hey--at least I'm not asking if Paris has a new song, & if anyone likes it!!
And I'm not even gonna ask your opinion about "Condie" , or her hairstyle, or alleged headache.....(PuhLEEEEZE!) And to be honest, I couldn't care less about your religious affiliation, sexual preference, or ethnic background.

I just wanna know----when is the last time you were nice to someone? For no other reason than that it felt good??!!

all the time....I'm generous with my things and let [for example] people use my washer when they need to wash clothes, my tools when they need them for something....I help my nurse by keeping up with my own blood sugars, daily weight, and vital signs on the days when she's not here....and yes, this makes me feel good♥

When I worked at a book store in high school a woman came in looking for suggestions for her 11 year old daughter...she described her interests and I immediately knew that she would love a series that I read when I was her age...after finding out that it was now out of print, I asked the lady if she could come back...that night I got my copies together and the next time she came in I gave them to her...Not only was she so grateful, but her daughter came in to thank me and then wrote me a letter after she read every one...

At 17 I had never felt so good about being nice...from that day on I've tried to be nice and help people whenever I can...I'm not one of those sugary sweet people who's always happy, but I see no reason why you shouldn't be nice just for the sake of it...I also believe in Karma and I kind of like the concept behind that really cheesy Pay It Forward movie

Today. I offered to babysit for someone, so she could be at the hospital when her grandmother has surgery tomorrow. Oh, speaking of hospital----I was nice yesterday also. A friend, who I hardly see, called asking me to give her a ride to the ER to see her son, who was there with her husband. They only have one car. Before she could explain that she tried calling her sister and mom....I said, "I'll be there in a few minutes."

Funny thing, I really don't want to babysit and I really was kinda too busy to leave my house. I just was nice because that is what we should be doing. I wasn't even doing it because it made me feel good. I did feel good that I could help. But how I felt wasn't the main thing. The main thing is that I could do something to help someone else. I COULD do something. I teach my kids that if someone asks for help and you can help you simply do. Life is hard enough....if you can make someone's a bit nicer I say you go for it.

I'm nice to someone every day. Sometimes twice a day. I deal in customer service. I have people who come to me who slept on a pea or the wrong side of the bed and it's my job to make them feel good.

A guy came to me today with pictures that had lines in them.

I stopped the machine for 15 minutes.

I blew the dust.

I recallibrated.

I re-printed and burned a new CD without the lines.

No one else understands why I did that.

I did it because he was right and because it needed to be done.

A few days ago I gave a girl I don't know money to keep going to college. It wasn't much money but I read her blog and saw that she needed help, so I gave it to her. I haven't even met her.

Two weeks ago, that stands out in my head. I am always broke and I just gave someone 50 bucks because I knew they need it although they never implied that to me.

Every day! I just answered a question about this very topic.
If everyone would do one small kindness, we'd all feel good about ourselves and therefore, better social interaction.
