Consensual sex between people defined by the laws of their state as underage. It's rather more complicated than people think. If you're an 18 year old and have sex with a 13 year old , it's statutory rape in most states. The "age of consent" is usually 16, sometimes as high as 18 , in most states.

It varies from state to state, but it's usually when someone who is 18 or over, has sex with someone under 18. It can also be applied when both parties are under 18, but there is a greater than 2 year age difference between the two. Check with your local state laws to see what it is in your state.
Hope this helps!

It's having sex with someone who is considered too young, by law, to legally consent to sex. In most states, the age of consent is 16, but it can be 17 or 18.

It's the crime of having sex (not defined Bill Clinton style, but fairly broadly) with someone below legal age. The legal age varies from state to state but is often 18. Although it may seem to be a victimless crime (and sometimes really is), you can still get in a lot of trouble for it.

"Statutory" means that it is written in a statute or law. It is when a minor has sex with an adult, usually willingly, but the adult is still considered a "rapist". Minors cannot consent to sex since the law states that only adults have the maturity to commit themselves to such a thing.

Having sex with someone who cannot legally give mutual consent for it. Minors are the number one but some mentally ill patients fall into this catagory as well.
