I am sure you have done this, but call all his friends. At 12 it was very common for me to just leave and go to a friends help and stay there all day and possibly night without as much as a call. In hindsight it was stupid, but I was 12 and you do not make the smartest decisions at that age. If he has not shown up after 24 hrs. then the police will allow you to fill out a missing person report.

Call the TV Newstation, place the Asian race card, in that you fear for his life due to recent Asian uprisings in your neighborhood.
My 12 year old expert says check w/ friends, skate parks, beach, arcade, alley's, check his room for notes, does he have cell phone? if so check out the the call records from the last few days, if the police won't help with that, the phone company will, how much money does he have? Unlikely he flew somewhere, because security is too tight, Check again with all his friends, if he's runn away for a reason that's been ongoing then his friends could be hiding him. Has there been any recent kidnappings or scary things that you know of?

Do not give up hope. Tomorrow the cops should be able to file a missing persons report, they usually have to wait 24 hours. I am so sorry that you and your family are going through this. You are all in our prayers. Good luck and God bless.

if this has been reported the authorities should by now posted an amber alert.if they have not you should call 1-800-THE LOST and tell them all the imformation you can.They will tell you what to do .after you do that you get someone to get his picture in any area papers right away.where i live this service is free and should be there.also you can help by getting friends involved by helping you get printed flyers out with his picture,date of birth ,place last seen,etc..once you make a profile for fliers use the same flier and post it on the internet.if you can,get to a local tv station or call one they will come to you and get the imformation on the news asap.thats what the media is for.but dont wait and dont let anyone convince you that you are over reacting in an attempt to "wait and see".JUST DO IT!if you can ,send me imformation and a picture to novaangel@earthlink.net...and please get someone to get back in touch with the miami police,to see if they have issued an amber alert..I will be watching and praying. THE NOVA....

FYI Mr whydunit or whatever your name is, the cops wont even help you unless her bro's been missing for at least 48( you should watch more TV), anyways you might try checking his journals, most 12 year olds don't go around getting kidnapped, he might have some clues if he has a journal, like if he's made at yall. Ill pray 4 ya good luck
