I spent a long time looking for the cure of vampirism...needless to say I've found the cure, but now that I'm not a vampire my character looks very different compared to what it looked like before becoming a vampire. Is there anyway to fix what this did to my characters appearance?

I had a somewhat similar experience. I have a pair of gauntlets called the Hands of Akatosh which generates light(pretty cool b the way). Anyway, if you go into the menu screen while wearing the gloves you see the light formed around the character. I took the gloves off and the light remained. I eventually reloaded an things went back to normal. Hopefully the same will happen for you. Oblivion Rules!

According to the Elder Scrolls forum, try to save & reload. Apparently this is a glitch. GL
