1. fat johnnies, a little shack that always has a line. it's on western ave, right before southwest highway, 72nd? awesome dogs and polish. no fries.
2. gene and judes on river rd and fullerton, next to the shell. incredible fries, dont ask for ketchup, u'll get thrown out.
3. jewtown polish. they call em "maxwell street" style. yellow shacks around the city. the original on maxwell was awesome.

The Weiners Circle at Clark and Wellington. If you go late night on weekends, besides a great dog, you get cursed out by the staff. It's the best. Free parking in the back too!

Portillo's for sure ! They have many restaurants in chicago and the suburbs so, their easy to find. The question should be where can you get a bad hotdog in Chicago ? Cause in my opinion, their all good !

Portillo's is my favorite. And then there is the little stand in the middle of the gold Coast On Ohio Street, and Grand Avenue.. Great! Can't believe it is still standing!

JR's Hot Dogs used to be the best but I dont know if they are still around since ive been in Florida. They also had the best orange bangs!!!!! It was like an Orange Julius.

Call me sick but I've always preferred the little carts/trucks on the corners. Hot dogs aren't meant to be eaten in a restauraunt.

Doggie Diner (the original) - best fresh corn dogs and french fries in the world.
