I have a similar problem
I’ll laugh at something that has no humor to it, like someone yelling at me or when I should be angry. In some of these situations I don’t want to laugh, it can even be embarrassing.
For the past 7-8 or so years I’ve also been unable to cry and get angry (since I was about 10 or 11). I’m either laughing and smiling or not laughing.
But it’s not that I feel everything is hilarious or that I'm happy all the time. There are many times where I feel sad or upset or aggressive but I can't seem to show it at all.
For me I'm quite certain that it is because of PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). This could be caused by something really stressful or painful that happened to you a long time ago that has effected the way you deal with everyday life.
Based of my experience it might be something similar for you also.

According to the reading I have done regarding hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), the brain, when it senses that blood sugar is low, will do sometimes strange things to get the blood sugar (glucose) out of storage and into the blood stream. Adrenaline is one sure way to do this. Exercise is another and laughing counts as exercise.
Getting yelled at probably causes you to get an adrenaline rush. You may want to check out low blood sugar as the cause.

It is probably a stress reaction. Many people laugh when under stress, when embarrassed, etc. You might try relaxation exercises. Try an internet search for "stress reduction."

You laugh when you are stressed. Many people do that. Don't worry about it. You can think of it as a release valve for your body.

don't worry...you are just a happy go lucky person...it's good to have a funny bone in you and it's just a phrase of your life....as you mature older, you will be able to control them...
