Do you mean "Synthroid"?
If so, it's a drug used to regulate your thyroid levels. When a person is prescribed synthroid, it usually means that their T3 and T4 levels are out of whack, and it helps balance your hormones and moods. The drug is commonly associated with hypothyroidism, where your thyroid is functioning below the average functioning range.
It's nothing to be freaked out about. Many people have to take it everyday to maintain proper thyroid function.

Actually I think you're thinking of Synthroid. Its a hormone replacement drug. Its for people that have hypothroid (less thyroid production).
