Elpibe - he asked if it were creating prejudice not racism - prejudice just means that you have an interpretation about people before you meet them based on the color of their skin. It can be positive or negative. Read before you define. Racial tension does not qualify racism. The illegals and their supporters are the ones who scream racism (apparently because they have a faulty argument that leaves them without a leg to stand on and this is the easiest way to distract from that). I don't think you followed the question very well and proved your own ignorance in your response.

That being said, I think that the pro-illegals are creating prejudice and racial tension because of groups like Aztlan and La Raza.

No way. Prejudice is something that is learned and formed from our own parents when we're young. The racial tension that you are talking about is created by people who feel that they're being threatened by the illegal immigrants since they take up some menial jobs that the rest of us would refuse to take. Oh, and that racist claim that MECha is pushing for the creation of a new Azatlan is false, the reason why they're denying it is becuase it simply is NOT true at all. MEChA is actually a student union whose main purpose is to encourage Latinos and Latinas to go to and finish college. It's also where Chicanos and Latino students organize for progressive political causes and purposes, such as latino student rights.

The only people who believe that crap about them wanting to start a reconquista are ignorant white supremacists like Barbara Coe of Huntington Beach, CA.

Oh, and to the 3rd person who answered this: you used a racial slur.

yars232c, you're an ignorant asshole who doesn't even know how to spell my screen name, besides lacking any intelligance and the ability to spell at all.

Given the state of our united states's immediately, i think of a revolt is the only way too restoration this subject the seven tribes have perpetrated against us. in case you look with the aid of this sight and others, you we see that approximately ninety 8% of the human beings agree this forced genocide is a lot out of control against white ecu peoples. it's time to shed some pink beginning with all government officers, Then Israel ought to be dealt with as a result !! After those maggots are dealt their justice, something of the subject with the human parasites would be extremely hardship-free to restoration. in case you think of Im being harsh given what's occurring around you, then you definately too ought to be dealt with, and could be in time I pray... HA HA in simple terms KIDDING, PEACE AND GOD BLESS!! enable them to all are available in, their in simple terms good human beings

i wanna revolt, before i pull out the legal stuff about mecha which will take a while, explain to me this:

Does MEChA support illegal immigration? I have yet to meet any Latino that encourages or wants illegal immigration

Actually, yes I do feel that way. Some of the stuff they're pushing for is frighteneing. MEChA is pushing for the creation of Aztlan. A country that will encompass most of the U.S. southwest. Though they deny it, it's in their own literature.

DEFINITELY! It's their OWN fault that people equate mexicans when we talk about illegals.
