Dear Atreadia: To join to my soul I would go within.

If God is spirit (spirit and soul are used interchangeably in different religions) and He Created you in His Likeness, then you are truly spirit also. Spirit-Mind. If He is Eternal, as Spirit - so are you. You are part OF Him - but not Him. Your position in His Kingdom is as one of His Children. You are a thought He had - a Will that you exist with Him - a Creation He brought into be-ing.

You are made up with a human mind (brain) that functions for life in a physical world. And - your spirit mind or soul that Knows and remembers it's Abba - Creator/Father. It is in operation at all times - even in communication with it's Maker.

That is the split . . .While knowing ourselves as human physical beings we no longer know Him. In our souls, we Know only Him. This is the great Separation. It is quite real.

Since I don't feel I've reached enlightenment yet, I'd probably remain in limbo until I was ready for reincarnation. And try this all over again.
