i couldn't claim i was his girlfriend beacuse our relationship was secret. i felt so helpless after all i put into the relationship and i was left with nothing. i had never been introduced to his family . i didn't know what to say to his family at the funeral. i introduced myself as his friend.

I have to agree with a few of the answers I read. This dream is telling u something, u may have doubts because he's keeping u a secret from family. U feel helpless because he hasn't introduce you to his family and may be deep down u resent him for not telling others about u that u dreamt about him being shot,.

Who was the shooter in the dream?( may be the shooter was u)and what u really couldn't claim was that in the dream not only to family but to yourself was that may be u were the shooter.

U said u put a lot in the relationship and was left with nothing, while in the dream u took control and force when u went to the funeral and introduce yourself to the family.

Dreams don't mean anything besides inner fear, or the opposite. Guess what? People don't dream in metaphors, despite popular belief. Usually, when your dream is bad, it's just your own inner fear. And when a dream is good? You guessed it. It's got a lot to do with love, or happiness or something. Remember - your dreams are still your imagination, so you created the thoughts. They're not metaphors, so don't worry about it.

you have guilt conscience. because your relationship is secret and that being shot shows that you are in a guilty feelings and do not want to let your family know. Your boy friend being shot symbolized not belonging to the family

A shot to the head is symbolic of communication. You want to communicate to your boyfriend that he should not keep your relationship secret? His death is a symbol for what will happen to your relationship if he doesn't try to make it work by understanding your viewpoint.

This dream indicates your fear of losing something you cherish and getting nothing out of the relationship. So, the threat of your lover getting killed is the fear of losing not only him but losing the right to grieve properly.

Like the old people tell me if you dream in the family then it's a outside family member that will die if outside of the family then it's inside that will die.

Being shot in a dream can also indicate the dreamer is living a self-destructive life or doing self-destructive things. Pray ..... God can and will help.

maybe it means that the relationship shouldn't be a secret anymore. because anything could happen and you don't want to just say "i was a friend". because you're his girlfriend... more than a friend
