They tend to think that all men will want to screw them if they wear jeans and a t shirt, so they cover their bodies so guys won't wonder why they don't shave their legs and armpits.
PS I saw a group of Muslim chicks at the mall yesterday. Now this was a southern rural area...What could they possibly be shopping for at old navy? Shouldn't they stick to shopping Fabric stores?

Nun's wear it as a sign of obedience to God, but it isn't forbidden that they don't wear it, they can show their face and hair. Muslim women wear it as a sign of obedience to God AND MEN, and aren't allowed to remove it becuase it is shameful to do so, apparently.

It is a matter of modesty. want people to look at me for who i am ..not my body..your body should be for your husbands eyes only.. Its a matter of respect....
