witch would u rather have as a pet cat or dog?

I would rather have a dog. Dogs are loyal and fun to play with. You can also take him/her on walks and they guard your house for you. Cats just litter and make your house dirty. They scratch you and hiss at you for no reason. Plus it's scary to look into their glowing eyes at night.

there is pro s and con s with them dogs are able to go to the park and run with you but you can not leave them unattended like you can a cat a cat is the best for the inside only a dog is good for outside and inside if you wish I have had both I travel a lot and I have a cat that goes where I do I work and am able to leave him home all day and night if I need to and he is still waiting for me a litter box sounds like a lot of trouble but so is taking a dog out for 30 minutes when he is ready and my cat travel a lot better them the dog we just put a box in the back floor board and he knows his business and we don't have to have unschuled stops

I would prefer to have a dog if someone said you can only have one or the other. I would ideally like to own a male cat (more affectionate) and a female dog (no leg humping). As for people who only like cats and do not like dogs, I think that if you do not like dogs then you do not like children. Why? Dogs require a lot of care and time and attention just like children do. Cats do not require much of anything. You can leave them alone for weekends and they do not require walking. Then there are those people who hate animals. Those people have no soul and I would not associate with them.

I have three cats and four Jack Russell Terriers. Every single animal has its own unique personality. One of the cats, Bashful and the Female Jack Russell, Rhythm follow me everywhere and always want to be by my side. Of course they are jealous of each other so I have to spend equal time with each one. Cats seem to need less attention than dogs do. Dogs require constant attention or they will get in trouble.

MEOW! Cats for sure. Of course, I'm slightly biased, as I've never had a dog for any length of time in my life.

Three cats now - one that is somewhere in the 20 year old range. He's been with me forever, and has been much more affectionate and demanding this past year.

Well, since my wife & I have six cats and no dogs I guess "cat" would be the answer. Dogs are too demanding of time & space, too destructive, and most likely to bite a stranger resulting in a huge lawsuit. Our cats are very loving, affectionate, intelligent, and, we feel, make better companion animals than dogs.

I like cats, but I prefer a dog if I had to choose because a dog makes a great companion both inside and outside. I would love to take long walks with my dog and let him/her run free in open meadows or fields. I like Shepherds, Collies, and Golden Retrievers best.

BOTH!! only get a godthough if u have the time for taking it on walks and have a back yard so they can run and play in.. cats are better if ur more mellow and are like living in an apartment
