...one day God descended from Heaven before you. He then proceeded to perform all manner of miracles and wonders, so that there could be no doubt as to either his existence or identity. Then He informed you that the One True Faith was ISLAM; and that all must convert or suffer eternal damnation.

Would you repent and convert? Or would you still insist that you yourself knew, better than the Almighty Creator knows himself, what God's true purpose and intentions are and cling to your faith?

And if your answer is the latter, will you at last acknowledge what the rest of us have known all along -- that you're only talking to yourself, not God?

I hope that you don't claim , as most atheists do, to be a deep thinker, because this question certainly does not reflect that!
What a silly simplistic idea, but I guess not much more can be expected!
First of all, God would not come and inform anyone that any particular "religion" was the one true faith. Secondly, Yeshua is THE way, the truth and the life- there is no other mediator between God and man. If any one were to come to me proclaiming anything, the Word of God and the Holy Spirit would provide the discernment needed to know the truth of what was being spoken - the very thing the founder of Mormonism was lacking. Lastly, none of us know and understand it all, but a true Christian, with an honest relationship with Christ, will receive correction and understanding when it is revealed by the Holy Spirit.

I would be shocked that God advocated any formal religion. Right there, I'd be suspicious!!! Besides, if he is such a vengeful God, I think perhaps a way other than his would be my preference. LOL, and that way has never been and would not be Bible thumping Christian.

He already DID all that, except that he sure didn't say anything about islam or allah, other than to warn us that there would be people who hate us. Try reading the bible. OOOH! There's a bible?????

wow...that's harsh man. I don't think he'd claim any religion. He'd just let me know he's there.

And while I'm certainly no Bible thumper, I won't admit I'm not talking to God...not to you or anyone else.
