Not entirely, colour is perceived throught the excitement of rods and cones on the retina, if there is damage to any of these contrast perception can be reduced so telling the difference between shades of the same colour can be harder for some people than for others. This can happen through eye disfunction or simply through aging. Light plays an important part in colour perception and the amount of light required increases as we age.
A test called the Melbourne Edge Test can be used to determine contrast sensitivity and this one tool that can help determine a persons sensitivity to slight changes in shades of the same colour. There are other tests where letters will be written in coloured spots on a background of different coloured spots. The contrast between the two colours reduces as the test goes on and you can determine levels of colour perception.

no everybody dont,even though people may act like they do,they dont,the only reason why people dont really bother the otha race in a bad way is because they know that they would go to jail for it.in otha states there are alot of racisim going on and slavery is still goin on too jus in different states and countries...some people may seem like they see tha samme colors equally but they dont,dont let them fool u.

No. one third of all men are color blind. I know, I sold furniture for over 20 years, I am a man. This is the reason men don't like to shop for furniture.

No. Some people are color blind. Other people see colors more vividly than others. There are philosphers out there who actually question if my color red looks the same as your color red.

nope...it all has to do with the cones and rods in your eyes....some people are completely color blind, some are partially color blind, some see specific colors more vividly than others.
