Your stressed and that is why you can't sleep. You think about it more, and you will keep your self awake more until your awake all night. Tommorow you have to stay awake all day and by the time your next bedtime comes your be like a zombie.

Just talk to someone about how you feel and do something to take your mind of this and relax.

Or you could try getting a huge mallet and get your parents to wack you over the head with it and your sleep very well; the only trouble is you won't wake for a foughtnight.

Good night

Tylenol DOES NOT make you get sleepy, but could potentially harm your body. Talk to your doctor about Lunesta, a prescribed medication to help you sleep better at night. If not, then drink warm milk and that always helped me fall asleep. Listen to a soft song and that will help you too.

A warm glass of milk.

At least two things go into this:

1) Tryptophan: the same ingredient that makes everyone sleepy after Thanksgiving dinner is present in milk.

2) Warmth: the few degrees that this drink might raise your body temperature is often enough to trigger the slowdown response we have on warm days.

In addition there is anecdotal evidence that the warm milk reminds us of the time when we were infants, hence "sleep like a baby."

Before you go to bed, like about 30 minutes before, eat a small snack. I suggest 1-2 oz of turkey (triptophan - spelling approximate), a cracker or a cookie, or if you are concerned about your weight - a low glycemic carbohydrate, like ½ apple, and also some nuts - almonds or peanuts are best, unless you are allergic to any of this. Do drink a glass of water with this. This is a recipe for some slow burning energy that will help level your blood sugar out for the night.
