It depends on the size of the dog, most of the time. Watch her when she goes out to do her business, if she doesn't have a bowel movement and starts vomiting get her to the vet, she has an obstruction with the eye!!! It is best to not let them chew on things that they shouldn't swallow. Good luck.

well i must say it is not the most conducive to healthy eating, however, i will let you know this is not an isolated incident. My Chihuahua, has a thing for removing eyes from the stuffed animals. i usually can intercept him before the eye removal happens. You may need to check the dogs poop, you may see an eye staring back at you. The digestive tract is very long and time of return may vary. I would just note if your pet develops pain or tenderness throughout the abdomen. It wouldn't hurt to let your vet know so they can better advise you. Good luck

depends on the size of your dog...if its a medium sized dog it will simply pass the eye in about a day, if its a small dog the same but maybe cause a bit of discomfort or even vomiting...unlikely though.

If she isn't showing any signs of discomfort, then it will more than likely pass in a day or so, if not consult a vet to make sure that there is no internal damage!
