There are more questions on the interstates of yahoo's vast world than there are lights in the sky.
I think God has long since been proven a myth. If we humans can't find a God than we make one and that my friend is exactly what happened many, many centuries when old men began to think of ways to own someone, make life easier for themselves, and once and for all place their women in a lower level than themselves.
If you notice every religion on earth places the poor female under the heel of their male gods. This is a human male trait not a god one. Even the Catholic church which places so much emphis on "the virgin Mary" as the mother of Jesus clearly yhave discriminated against women though their entire existance and even today refuse even the sisters and nuns the honor of preisthood. Instead alloting it to males known to them to be perverts.

No God is not within us. God created us with free will.
Some people do so many bad things how could god be in them.
That would be blaming God for their actions.
We are free moral agents.
Expected to be good. When we are not we disapoint God.
But having this we also must bear responsibility for our actions.

Teh reason we cant liv in peace is because we are all sinners as the bible states we all fall short of teh glory of God and we take advantage of his mercy
