One nice warm fried egg, over easy, oozing with butter and seasoned with a little salt. Break open that warm yolk and let it ooze all over those hashed browns. MMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some seasoning alone can really kick it up. Chiplotle powder is delicious and so is smoked paprika.
Instead of the usual catsup, try steak sauce or barbecue sauce.
Another yummy thing is grated good parmesan cheese which you can brown just a tad under the broiler.

Follow the lead at Waffle House and do the scattered, smothered, covered, chunked, capped and whatever thing! I like the jalapeno peppers in there too!

dip it in a chocolate milkshake and add gummy bears or carmel chips, or both,
if not, try some honey mustard and chicken bits, or put on some pakrika with minced garlic and sour cream
for a real heartattack, spray some whipped cream and add a cherry on top
Enjoy

My boyfriend likes putting brown gravy on his hashbrowns. Always has. I personally like to put chunks of ham and melted cheese on mine.

If they are greasy the better for apple sause, and maybe the apple sauce with cinnamon. You know apple sause is good with oatmeal, pork chops, potato pan cakes also.
