I am a huge duck, goose, and upland game bird hunter and finally saved enough to buy this beauty. Just wondering if anyone has used this gun and if so how they liked it. Also wondering if the safety button is stiff. Mine seems kinda hard to push in and was wondering if this is normal.

yes its a 12 gauge that shots up to 3 1/2" shells. I picked advantage max 4 color for most of the areas I hunt in match that the best. Its not the trigger that i am to worried about but the safety button seems hard to push and its kinda loud. Thanks all

I am traditionally a Browning A-5 man. I was a believer that it was the best hunting shotgun ever made. I have now come around to the belief that Benelli has beaten the A-5. I believe the SBE and the M-2 are the best shotguns ever made.

I disagree with the above solutions. In each thing you've listed, Mossberg makes a more effective efficient shotgun in case you seem frequently equipment. You get more effective on you funds, and the 5 hundred/535/590 has many constructive elements that are more effective efficient than the 870's.. the mandatory 870's use a cheap end, less costly timber, and they don't look to be almost as comfortable as an 870 Wingmaster till ok damaged in. 870's are more effective extreme priced. the in uncomplicated words 870 it really is properly worth figuring out to purchase over a Mossberg is the Wingmaster. Mossberg merely has no answer for that one. The Wingmaster is polished and comfortable. yet for any form of utilitarian pump, Mossberg is a thanks to bypass.

Thats a nice shotgun. I hope you got a 12 3 1/2" with the shadow grass camo. I may be picking one up for next year. The trigger should be stiff. Keep the right parts oiled to prevent lockups rogh movement and rust.

i think that over time your safety will loosen up a bit. i have had a SBE 1 for the last 8 years and it works very well for me.
