SOME DR'S AND PEOPLE WANT'S FOR YOU TO BELIEVE THAT REALLY IS NO CURE FOR ANY TYPE OF MENTAL ILLINESS. DR'S WANTS MONEY, AND MONEY, EXPENSIVE COST OF MEDICATION IF YOU DON'T GET IT FROM THE GOVERNMENT. WHY THEY DON'T TELL YOU THE SECRET OF HOW TO OVERCOME YOUR SICKNESS. (Sickness created by you, by sending the wrong message to your subconscious mind power) If you want to get better, do it the right way, start teaching your self how to use your mind correctly, how to send the correct messages. how long do they last, all depend on you.
Hunny, everything began with Power of The Mind. For those of you who have not heard of Napoleon Hill he was one of the early teachers of the power of the mind. The basic principle is that whatever your mind can imagine it can create. How does it do this? What your mind thinks, sees, believes, feels is all sent to your subconscious mind power. it's great partner. Your Subconscious then works with the universe and creates your reality based on the messages that began in your mind. But its not enough to simply imagine it and then hope it happens. That's not the way it works. If you can imagine it you can achieve it but you need to know how to use the power of your mind. Your mind can create wonderful things for you if you know how to use it and how to send the right messages to your subconscious. Most people don't know how to do this. Instead, you go through life never really using the power of your mind.
Did you know that doctors now firmly believe that 75% of all sickness and disease start in the mind? 75-Percent! That's a very large amount. That means that 75% of all the people who are sick today -- are only sick because they did not know how to use their mind. Doctors will even tell you that most sickness and disease are caused by stress. This is another event that starts in the mind. Scientists have long said that we only use 10% of our mind. 10-percent that's it. Think of going through life only spending 10-percent of your salary? Could you do it? No! Yet you go through life only using 10% of your mind. That 10-percent is creating 75% of all sickness because we don't even know how to use it properly. Now imagine if you just used 10% of our mind correctly? What would happen? What would happen if we learned to use 90% of our mind correctly? The results would be astounding! Your mind is an incredible power but no one ever taught you how to use this power. Throughout your entire life you've been taught how to do everything but no one ever taught you how to use your mind. Creating Power teaches you how to use your the power of your mind. I'm not saying that if you work with the Creating Power System you'll start using all of your mind correctly. But I do know that you'll begin using the power of your mind to its full potential and that is enough to create the change you want. Would you drive a car if you didn't know how to drive? No. You would have someone teach you. Why then would you try to use the power of your mind when you don't know how? Yet you do it everyday and you get the results that you don't want. If you want to change your life. If you want to use your mind correctly and utilize all its power then you need the Creating Power System. And it's completely Guaranteed!
I was with a severe depression for 10 years. Partial schizophrenia, Bipolar, taking 7 types of different anti-depression medication, sometimes more. No to mention Hospitalized many times for attempts of suicide. Expensive medication that I coudn't afford...
Just remember one thing. Medication in today’s culture is set by people who want to sell them. " Is not like in old days " Dr's get a kick back from them, also medication can make you even more depress if you take to much or the wrong kind. It can affect you and many different ways.
You can do it, because I did it. I am Free of Medication and Worries.
Remember... Creating Power System, Create Power.
Best.

I have had anxiety and panic attacks/ since I was very young, I am 45. As a child I would wake up crying and screaming I can't breath. I would think that something bad was going to happen all the time, like my mom was going to die, or leave me in a store. As an adult I can feel a wide range of symptoms such as: feeling like my arm is not connected to my body, or my tongue is really thick, I can't breath, I'm having a heart attack, I'm choking, I'm going to die. These symptoms can last a few minutes to continuously one after another if I'm having panic attacks, depending on the level of my anxiety. When I feel normal I'm not having any of the symptoms I named. Anxiety affects everyone differently, so does panic attacks. While there are symptoms that seem to be common with everyone, we are still individuals and have unique symptoms. Usually with me the more anxiety I have the more panic attacks I have. I take Klonopin which is specifically for panic attacks and Lexapro for depression and anxiety, both work great for me. I hope this is helpful and I hope you have or are going to seek professional help. God Bless!!

There are different levels for me. Sometimes it's just a shortness of breath and it feels like an asthma attack with some clammy hands, arms, and face and a lot of shaking. When it's really bad, my lungs feel like they are consistantly empty and I can't breathe very well and my heart feels like it's burst into a million little pieces. I've been getting them for several years due to overwhelming stress and other chemical imbalances in my brain which also cause depression. I even had to be taken to the hospital before because it was so bad. They don't really have a set time that they last, it varies accordingly. A lot of people have just mild attacks, some severe, and some like me where it differs on the reason behind the attack. When I am feeling "normal" I can actually breathe and I feel much much more relaxed.
I get them when I am feel depressed, upset, angry, etc... I don't get them as often as I used to because my doc perscribed me meds to take for my depression and attacks which has helped me be a MUCH happier person. Thank heavens for Zoloft.

I've had them for about a yr & half now. My husband first noticed I was breathing shallow when sleeping, then sometimes I stopped breathing in my sleep ( I was ckd for sleep apnea, clinic said I didnt have that). Well I started noticing it during the day also, then came the heart palps, light headed, sometimes sweaty palms, usually lasted for several hrs, and would drain me to the point I would just go to bed. But at that time I didnt know what was goin on, the doc tested me for everything, nothing found. So they then assumed it was panic/anxiety attacks. Put me on Xanax, which helped alot. I didnt want to rely on meds completely so I bought the book called " Overcoming Anxiety for Dummies". That really helped alot!! Obviously 'Normal' is whatever is normal for you, but these kind of symptoms are not normal. It's usually caused by underlying stresses that build up inside of you & you dont even realize it, then your body gets fed up with you letting those stresses pile up & then it rebels! Get the book, it really will help.

I have suffered from panic attacks since I was twelve years old.
When I have one, my heart begins to race and seems like it is beating really hard. I get cold, and my skin is pale and clammy. I can't breathe, and I feel like I am going to pass out.
The attacks seem to come on when I am exposed to certain things from my past. I grew up being terrified of men, and when I am around certain men alone, I start having panic attacks. I also get them when I have to make speaches or get in front of a large group of people.
I begin to feel normal when the fear has been removed from the situation, or when I start relaxing. I had been on Zoloft for a few months for my panic attacks. I quit taking it, cause I didn't feel like it was helping. I have to take real slow breathes and make myself realize that I will live through it.
Panic attacks do not affect my daily life. Any other time, I feel completely normal. I do not suffer from depression or anything else. It comes and goes with the rest of my life.

All that is needed is your willingness to break out of the anxiety cycle. In the end you must Break This Cycle Of Fear. -Learn to avoid making the one mistake almost everyone makes during a panic attack episode. -You may have heard the reassuring fact that panic attacks are not life threatening but did you know exactly why this is? Being fully educated on the latest research will help you understand the true nature of panic attacks. -What you eat and how you exercise today will effect the power and intensity of your next panic attack.

I get them from stress, and at times I tend to "think" something bad is going to happen. I'll hear a small sound in my house and start freaking out, when to find out its nothing. I also get them when I know I have a meeting of some sort, like If i wake up and know I have church and I have time to relax and think about church then its worse, then if I just wake up and get ready and get my kids ready and go..
I have suffered from them since I was a kid... off and on... I'll go a few months not having any, but then ill have 6 in a week. Whenever I start to feel my chest get tight is when I know I have to find a way to relax... That has deffinately helped me in more ways then one,, Slowwwwwww deep breathing helps a ton!... Oh and mine varies how long these last.... There are times when I start shaking and my chest gets tight, but yet it will stay that way for a couple of hours, and really won't go away until I take a couple of Tylenol and go to bed.
Good Luck!

I've been suffering from panic anxiety for about 4 years now. I get short of breath, an overwhelming feeling of pure terror and a pounding heart rate or palpitations. The longest attack I've had lasted over a couple hours. When I'm feeling "normal" I can breathe and my heart rate is normal.

My wife and I have both experienced anxiety and panic attacks. I had them after a motorcycle accident in 1995. She has had them most of her adult life. For me, it went away after a couple of years. For her, it was persistent and even life altering. She would no go out in public, she stopped working, she hardly left the bed towards the end.
Lucinda Bassett of the Midwest Center for Stress has an awesome program. My wife got it, followed it, and has been anxiety free since 2000. It took her about a year to get a real handle on things (to the point where she didn’t have to review the workbook on a daily basis) but the changes were nothing short of miraculous.

I used to get panic attacks when I would go into stores or just the strangest times, it wasn't that I was afraid of anything in particular, My heart would race, I would feel like I was going to die.
I wander if some of us are just more sensitive to things.
I went to the Dr's and got one of those monitors that you wear around your neck and record things that you do, nothing wrong with me, I saw a therapist, I got tired of that, so I decided I would figure it out for myself or die trying, I think my biggest concern was what if I passed out in a store, it would be so embarrassing,
so i would purposely go to the store and practice breathing while I was there, and sure enough I conquered it,years later I learned that a lot of it is how we breathe, when I would get scared or whatever I would hold my breath, so I was never getting enough oxygen to the brain. and let me tell you correct breathing makes all the difference in the world,
Yoga classes if anyone can find them in their area, if you just learn the breathing portion, it is great.
