Try a couple of tablespoons of peanut butter in the oatmeal. It's actually really good!

Most any fruit is a good mix in. I use canned peaches. Also try eating a couple pieces of toast on the side. Protin is not a usual
partner for Oatmeal. But you could ham, bacon or sausage.
Just make sure you buy the lower sodium kind.

Good Luck !

Yoghurt is good.
You can try this, it was simple to make and a nice change from plain oatmeal. - I halved the recipe and it was still a nice portion for 4, if you are having something else with the meal.

BANANA OATMEAL BREAKFAST BRULEE
from National Diary Council and VeryBestMeals.Com
4 cups fat-free milk
2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
1/4 teaspoon of salt
6 tablespoons brown sugar, divided
1 cup of low-fat French Vanilla flavored yogurt
2 bananas, peeled and sliced thinly into rounds

Combine milk, rolled oats and 2 tablespoons of the brown sugar in a large saucepan and mix well. Bring to a boil over medium heat, and continue to cook, stirring constantly, for one minute. Spoon one cup of the oatmeal into each of four augratin dishes or ovenproof bowls. Press the oatmeal down with the back of a spoon to spread it evenly in the dish. Top each serving with 1/4 cup of the yogurt, spreading it evenly over the entire surface. Arrange sliced banana rounds evenly over the top of the yogurt, and then sprinkle each with 1 tablespoon of the remaining brown sugar. Arrange the dishes on a baking sheet or in a large baking pan and place under a preheated broiler under the sugar starts to bubble and turn dark (1-2 minutes). Serve immediately.

I always add protein powder to oatmeal when I have it, I use the vanilla flavoured kind. It really is good, I only use half a scoop stirred into the milk I pour onto the oatmeal. don't even have to add sweetener maybe just a few berries.

Have a couple slices of toast with peanut butter. And pour some milk into your oatmeal. Or how about some bacon or sausage? Those are some great sources of protein for your breakfast.

Add a tablespoon of wheat or oat bran. It disappears into the oatmeal, you don't notice it, but it supplies fiber and expands in your stomach to fill you up. No, it's not protein but it does make you feel fuller.

I put raisins, fresh or frozen strawberries, a third of a banana and a tble spoon of flax seed meal in my morning oatmeal. Not hungry or four or five hours. You might want to drink a glass of milk or orange juice with yours.

A friend gave me a package of oatmeal to try (sorry I don't remember the name) that specifically said it contained higher protein.

First of all, eat a larger portion of oatmeal. I love raisins in mine or berries. Bananas with maple syrup works too.
