Mexican nationals or Mexican Americans?

I'll have to go backwards. They say half of the Mexican nationals here are illegally here, and more than half of the population of illegal immigrants is Mexican. There are 12 to 20 million illegal immigrants in the country. I gues that means there are about 7 to 11 million Mexican nationals legally here.

If they are deported I don't think any will be left that came here illegally. My POV is this how could other country residence have to go through immigration process so why is it that Mexican don't follow this too.

at least 1/2 of one....me = )~

Why when people talk about illegals, we automatically assume they mean Mexican? My friend is here from Sweden and he's illegal. Another guy I knew worked here illegally for 20 years and he was from England? Just curious.

... all the Pizza shops, bakeries, fish markets, fast food restaurants would just close their doors, and your parents, friends and neighbors would have to apply for Food Stamps cause they wouldn't have businesses where they could exploit (ahem) "disadvantaged" folk from afar with low wage earnings.

But um ... if all the "illegals" just voluntarily left the country, the official language would be Spanish, and history books would have to reflect the truth about Christopher Columbus and the pirates that raped and mutilated so many "illegals" they encountered on their "discoveries".

Well it seems like they have more children per family, at least that's what I see in my town. Then probably still quite a few, which is fine as long as their legal, and working.
