No link, yet a lady i artwork with and her son stumbled on out that his ex GF had left the state to provide delivery and position her infant for adoption. It turned right into a private adoption (which signifies that the newborn isn't contained in the custody of the organization and till finalization, some thing can take position) . the female from artwork and her son filed for custody. before everything the persons raising the baby were going to strive against, in spite of the undeniable fact that the day previously (or the day of i do not shop in ideas) the courtroom date, they exceeded over. the baby become 6-9 months previous. they are very pleased to have the newborn residing house.

I've heard of it but never knew anyone who had that arrangement. My dad's girlfriend has a 6 month arrangement with her ex husband though. She has their kids for 6 months but he gets them every other weekend and then vice versa.

I guess it would work if the parents lived near one another....so that the child was going to the same school no matter who he lived with

Nothing like stability. Why doesn't the mediator just saw the kid in half?

no, I don't know if I could be away for my child for a year. me and daddy would have to make a better compromise than that. as hard as it may be you have to work with your ex no matter how hard it is to get along, for you and your child's sake you must learn to talk to each other.
