What is an acceptable age difference?

I don't think it's weird since you are both adults. You should realize that you may be in different places in your lives and might be looking for different things. You might be wanting a long term relationship and she may not be looking to get into something so serious at a young age. I usually say 10yrs is an acceptable age difference, anything more than 15yrs and I'd have to wonder what they had in common other than maybe sex.

Sure why not she is of age. Age does not matter my husband is 47 and I am 37. We have been together for almost 8 years now. I say go for it. Have fun You might find some differences though like music she listens to, movies she likes,topics she likes to talk about.

I've heard the youngest you should date is half your age plus seven. 34/2=17+7=24. Sorry, you lose, I win. Ha.

my daughter is 25 and if she had a 40 year old and he treated her with repect and she was happy it would be fine with me my best friend is married to a man ten years older my step father was ten years older then my mom and the best thing that happened to her my brother married a women 11 years younger them him and she turned out to be nuts so I'd say age for someone older then 21 don't matter younger yes it does because of phyical desires younger people are not ready for

That's not as bad as a 28 year old guy dating a woman who is 44 (3 years younger than his MOM)

i dont think its weird that you have an age difference. age is nuttin but a number. and if everything is good and you both make each other happy and shes ready for the things you are, then good luck =]

It's okay she is legal and as long as you two have things in common and have a good time together good conversation then go for it I date older guys all the time !!

It's not that bad. As long as you two have enough in common - and you don't feel as if you're 'robbing the cradle'. The gap doesn't have a significant diffrence . . . just go with what your heart tells you.

I feel people make to much out of age if you are two consenting adults .Then were is the problem .
