No it is not wrong for Americans to want fair wages. The Industries are making millions every single year because they pay low wages.

But on the other hand, what do you consider a fair wage? Some folks would say $12.00 per hour while others want $30.00. So really who is to say what is fair.

I just read what sho ban had to say and I think he is absolutely correct. He has a thumbs up from me.

One of the great paradoxes of politics today is the Democrats' support for both illegals and unions. Illegals are taking union jobs away, plain and simple. Further, Democrats' support of an increase in minimum wages will cost union workers even more jobs, as an increase in union wages will make employers even more likely to hire illegals to do the work.

.No its not wrong to want fair wages. The cost of living is so how but you have employees that work had and make a little. Rent is so high in new york, that I seem to live paycheck to paycheck. I can't even think about having another child which i want but can't offered, Dag I can't offered the one I have now. I so call government keep the wages down and make it hard for us to live the American dream.

I do not only "want" fair wages, I demand a livable wage or I do not take the job.
I am not an unskilled laborer either, my training and skills are in high demand and I am able to determine what wage I am willing to accept.
Thats the great thing about an education, you become a valuable commodity in the labor market.

It is not wrong for Americans to want fair wages and it is the greed of corporations that is keeping wages down.

Illegals keep wages down. Who benefits? Their employers! Who donates to political campaigns to maintain the status quo? Those same employers! If illegals were given amnesty, they'd have to get at least the minimum wage putting less downward pressure on wages for the rest of us.

No, I dont think they keep wages down, but I do think they keep American jobs from Americans. My neighbor is a union roofer, at $34 and hour, and he swears its so hard for him to find work cuz all the mexicans take the work for about $10 an hour. I don't know, as his friend, thats all I hear him b**ch about.

If the minimum wage goes up, your pizza goes up, your movies go up, your fuel goes up. If you make above the new minimum wage, your salary does not go up by the same amount, effectively reducing your buying power. Recession follows.
