Mine were sore the next day for a few hours, but that was it. It is a wonderful feeling. Your teeth feel all smooth and slimey, and it feels like your upper lip is going to fall of your face. You should be way more excited than scared, the pain is nothing like getting them on, not even close. The experience of getting them off is almost worth all the years of hassle. I got mine off 1 year ago, and still remember the day like it was yesterday. So worth it. So don't be scared. Be happy.

No it doesnt hurt at all. I just got mine removed a couple weeks ago. When your braces are off it feels really weird but they dont hurt, you are left with a great smile. Lots of people have been complimenting my smile.Good Luck an remember its not going to hurt. You will be glad of what they did to your teeth.

No it doesnt hurt after getting them off, but for me it hurt while getting them off. I had clear braces on the top and on my front 2 teeth the brackets were very stuck. He pulled and pulled and I was in tears from the tugging. He finally filed it off and that didnt hurt at all. Dont worry my case was really rare!

The process of getting them taken off isn't really plesant because you have to hold your mouth open for so long. Your jaw will get a little sore, but nothing that bad. Your mouth will feel like you have more room in it and your teeth will feel really slick. Congrats with getting them off!

Don't be scared. Getting rid of them hurts a lot less than they did when they were on! They may be a little sore for a few days, but mine didn't bother me much at all.

It will feel so much better. You'll be able to close your mouth without the braces scratching your lips. it won't hurt nearly as much as it does putting them on. you'll be happy with the results, too.

Nahhh it doesn't hurt. It feels weird while you're getting them off when they scrape the glue off your teeth.. but it doesn't really hurt. It feels awesome once they're off though.. you won't be able to stop rubbing your tongue against your teeth! haha but yeah definitely wear that retainer.. you don't want all that time, pain, and money to go to waste :] congrats on getting them off <3

It feels wonderful, and the pain is minimal compaired to the pain that was experienced throughout the Orthodontic treatment.
