Are guys willing to date a 20-22 year old with a 1-3 year old daughter? I've heard so many people say that no one wants baggage. How accurate is this? What if she is hot, has lots of goals, is in college and is going somewhere? Thanks!!! ;)

I say 20-22 because I'm not necessarily wanting to start a new relationship now, but maybe in a year or two when I am 21 or 22.

well, the fact that she has a daughter wouldn't mean anything to me. The fact that she is hot wouldn't mean much. The fact that she has goals and is doing something to pursue them is most interesting. So, having said all that, I guess it comes down to the question Is she a nice person? If so, then I would definitely take her out and if that was good then who knows?

The Baggage dont matter, as long as the carrier of that baggage has a cool personality. My friend Bo met this girl when she was 22 and had a daughter 1 year old, they been together HAPPILY for 16 years. Enough Said.

The right guys are willing to date someone regardless of "baggage" (horrible term, that!). I'm in the same sort of situation - I'm a guy, yeah, but I have a son from a prior relationship, and as far as I'm concerned, he's not baggage - he's part of the deal! If the guy in question can't see you as anything but a *mum*, he's not really interested in you, move on..

Guys that see a child and run are guys who were never even contemplating comitting to anyone. Let them screw about with someone else, and look for better for yourself!

First of all, a man that wouldn't accept someone because they have a child is either childish himself or insecure, you don't need nor want them. Watch out though because there are a lot of guys who prey on women that htey think need something, sleep with them and you know the rest. What you need to do is find a mature man, perhaps one that also has children. I myself am a single father, college graduate, successful and understand your situation. It's a little different for me because my children don'y live with me full time, but I still understand. I say I am good looking, successful and know who I am, I think the rest will take care of itself. get back to me if you would like.

I would date someone with a child. I mean, I'm pretty shore that most guys would. But the thing is, you should ask yourself, is it the right time to be dating? I mean, you can't just let anybody around your child. So actually, you have the power, your in control, and if they have a problem with your child, send them on there way. Ya dig???
