Tell me what you think... Instead of setting my shoulders paralell to the slope I just take my normal stance and swing along the slope. The ball should draw/fade back to the target assuming the club face is aimed at the target. I think this is an easier method in dealing with these lies.

UPHILL LIES -- Of all the uneven lies you might face, this is the easiest to deal with because it actually helps get the ball into the air. In fact, when faced with instructing a player who has difficulty understanding the concept of hitting the ball with a properly descending blow, many PGA Professionals will have him or her hit shots from a slight uphill lie.

There's no fix rules in golf. Sometimes I think your method works OK, especially once it's a combination of uphill and slop down or down hill and slope from right to left. There's really no way to adjust your shoulder to be parallel to combination slope. But, if you can set up the shoulder promoting a more consistent swing.

i tend to think that the shoulders and your swing are closer tied to the position that your legs are in and not your shoulders. If you've figured out how to hit the shot successfully, then don't even think about your shoulders. You just need to fugure out the proper amount of flex in each knee and where your weight is shifted. From there, the swing will take care of itself.

you should always set up the same way as your slope - if you're on a downhill, you have to get your weight forward to emulate the slope - on a uphill, get you weight back - just try to set up your legs exactly the same way as the slope you're on - good luck
