serve on your best plate with fresh fruit garnishes. Slice oranges (or lemons or limes) 1/4 of an inch thin - so you have a full circle and its thin. Take a knife and cut half of the circle down the middle. gently bring the left side forward, and the right side back. It looks professional. Other fresh garnishes could be radishes and cherry tomatoes cut to resemble a rose. you could also add fresh cilantro sprigs, Rosemary too. I'm thinking of another spice garnish that most restaurants place on a dinner plate that but i cant remember the name of it. Hope this helps

Food wise:
Garnishing:
Some examples such as :
Flower Blossom Butter
Pineapple Shooting Stars
Radish Caviar Grapes.
Soups:
Enhance your meal with a hearty soup and some fresh bread.
Side dishes:
Crisp, cool and fresh, delicious salad.
Desert:
Fresh fruit salad makes a refreshing end to the meal.
Tableware:
Make an inviting atmosphere with appropriate colours for table cloth, tables ware- work it around a theme or you can, you give it a look according to a season also. The napkins, napkins rings, plates, center piece could all work around a particular theme you would like or your invited partner would like.
Room:
The room atmosphere is very important too- and where your table is set- i.e perhaps with a window view to a garden.
Potpourie at other side of room, with peach potpourie essenses sprinkled on it. Gives a real nice atmosphere.
Drink:
Just have some clear mineral water with ice/ fruits will be sufficient.
Last but not least: Good company.

Presentation of the dish is important so you really should garnish the dish on the plate to make it more attractive. Nice serving dishes/utensils; place settings - those things enhance the meal.

To enhance the best dishes to be a good meal experience:
1) Good Mood
2) Inspiring music
3) Excellent ambiance
4) Invite Friends or Relatives
If you have those four things aside from your best dishes......Absolutely, there will be no leftover food. Bon appetite!

simple: get someone to join you.
knowing someone else who appreciates your cooking will enjoy the meal with you will automatically make you put more love and enthusiasm into what you do - that makes the difference and the magic of a any home-made dish.
after all, eating alone is not much of a feast anyway.
however, nothing of course tops having dessert in the bedroom...remember: the "best" doesn't necessarily mean the "most complicated".

with an excellent dessert. dont go all out on the main course, then have a scoop of ice cream. Your "best dish" is only part of a bigger picture, make the whole picture your best, including the salad, soup...everything. I like to make fresh bread or rolls too.

With every course, I like to place tiny little dishes in front of each person with small eatables to add/compliment the dish of the moment.
Grissini with soups/starters
Olives, large stem capers and tiny pizza squares, or mostarda with main course., depending.
Any chocolate nibbles, candied flowers, Italian frutti canditi, with dessert.

Do what you need to (breathe deep, visualize) to collect and calm yourself; focus your energy and intention on the great presentation ahead and get out there and show your guest(s) by your attention how delighted you are at the whole affair.
