The only evidence that I need of the non-existence of god(s), is the non-existence of evidence to prove the claim by believers that it does exist. The burden of proof is on the claimant. The people who originally made the claim, are the believers. Atheism is the default position. The only "evidence" that believers can ultimately claim is faith. Faith does not equal fact.

Have a nice night!

I'll answer assuming you mean a xian god, and not just some general god:

It boils down to 2 things for me, how does one reconcile omnipotence, omnibenevolence and omniscience with this world and the life on it. And, why are there so many billions of people living in entire, huge countries whose culture has nothing remotely like the xian god and jesus. Here is a post I did before on the topic:

Because I look at what life was like for human beings for the past 40,000 years (maybe 6,000 for you). People lived for an average of 30-40 years. More than 50% of children died before age one (until about 100 years ago!). I look at thousands of children permanently blinded by parasites they get from playing in creeks in underdeveloped countries.

Then I look at children of modern developed countries, of any religion. I see that they live until their EIGHTIES!! Have all their teeth for a very long time. Have excellent health, etc... And I see that this has nothing to do with religion or god. It is medicine and science. So was it god's plan that hundreds of generations of people would suffer and die in their 40's and suddenly in the 19th and 20th century, everything would get better?

I have no proof that there isn't an invisible 3-headed ax murderer living under my bed either. But there isn't.

The burden of proof is on the person that makes unrealistic claims. That's you.

The idea of gods came about because man couldn't explain what happened around him. One of the earliest words for "rain" translated as "God's semen"; it impregnated the Earth Mother and brought forth new life.

To me, that makes more sense than virgin birth, the Trinity, angels dancing on the head of a pin, knowing how many levels of angels there are, etc.

No such evidence is required. Believers assert the proposition that 'god exists = true'; therefore, they hold the burden of proof.

There is no credible evidence to support God belief.

your an idiot. the proof that their is no god is based on the lack of proof that their is a god. if there is no proof of something, then it does not exist. think of anything that you know to exist. there is proof of its existance, because if there wasnt, then there would be no way that you know it exists
