i think that its perfectly fine to make the first move. sometimes i make the first move when i think that they are scared too.

I would find it flattering myself. Nothing wrong with making the first move. That would take all the pressure off of the guy wondering if he should make the move.

Is it the first time? It depends on the guy, but if it's not the first time then he'd probably like it a lot.
