Don't care too much about losing weight, we r at the best age, but make muscle. Plus, remember, how you lose weight is input/output. You are putting those 1700 calories, wasting 1000 calories, and thats not all, you have your metabollic activities and thats like from 3000 to 4000 everyday, you should be losing weight soon. But aim to like 6 pounds per month, it works. Dont only do that, you must also exercise your whole body, i recommend u go to a gym and get a personal trainer.

Well, since you're a guuy (I think, it's not obvious), you need to get into a really good resistance training program to help tone and shape your body. You also need way more calories than that to jumpstart your metabolism believe it or not, and should concentrate on protein to help build the muscle.

It will take a while to lose weight when you're doing it right, but it will be much more likely to stay off, especially if you start healthy eating habits and keep them (only a pound to 3 pounds a week).

You should try to lose a pound every two or three days at maximum. That would be about 35-45 pounds in a few months. If you could achieve double that and hit your 100 pound loss it would be a really bad idea and jeopardize your health.

have you ever tried lap banding? that's the only way you can lose so much weight in so little time.

Actually, what you are doing is fine. Do not just trust your ordinary weighing scale. You might want to get a weighing scale with a body fat analysis. That is a more accurate number. Also check your blood pressure and heart rate all the time. Do not overstrain yourself.

It will take longer than a few months, probably about 10. After a while your weight loss will start to slow unless you do a zigzag diet, you might want to look that up.
