They(the other guys) want to know what he (your bf) sees in you. What makes you more special than the rest of the other girls. It has been like that for years. They want what they can't have. Yes, they were around, we never notice the other guy until we have a boyfriend.

Well let's see. I don't know why, but guys (and sometimes girls) always seem to want what they can't have. I think some people find it more of a challenge when someone is unavailable. I don't know what attracts them, but it seems to happen. Give your new boyfriend a chance. Obviously the others missed out! You snooze, you lose!

that's a very good question.it reminds me of the time when i was single and went dancing a lot and made a lot of female friends or dance partners.I'll use Debbie as an example for you even though there were many.i would go to a dance place and see Debbie standing there no one asking her to dance.i would go over to her and ask her to dance.we would go around the dance floor for one or two songs, then i would take her back to where i got her.from then on men would ask her to dance and she would dance the rest of the night.like you i wondered why and what i came up with was this;the men wanted to see if she would reject me,they were shy and did not want to be rejected, they wanted to see what kind of dancer she was,and most of all they sized her up watched her smile how tall she was in other words i showed her off.this might be deep for you to understand but it worked, and not just with Debbie.i would dance with all my female friends and no one knew that we all knew each each other, and as far as the selection process i believe it is purely chemistry.

lol some guys are weird and in some cases its more like a competition, they see someone with you and may think oh i can get her too...or it really may be you, after gettin a b/f your confidence may have increased which is always a plus
also they may have liked you all along and you just didnt noticed and seein how hes your first b/f you may not have had experience like that with the opposite and realized when some one did happen to like you

When you seem like you don't have anybody they are nowhere to be found but once they see you have that confidence and the Man they seem to come out of the wood works. They were there all along. They just did not see your confidence which allowed them not to see us until you got a man.

Because now you are a challenge....possibly your bf might have bragged about you or told a friend about you who in turn told others, so now everyone else would like a chance to see if what you do is really that good

They were there but they didn't think of you as girlfriend material until they saw you going out with a guy. Now they are regretting being so slow off the mark.

Could be that you didn't notice them. Could be that they notice you two and think that you are putting out too. Guys are pigs (mostly ) just use your best judgement and don't get big headed.

It is called bad timing! Words of advise-I am 34- do not be rude to any other admirers. Let them know you are happy with your boyfriend but if anything changes you will contact them then.

Because it is human nature to want what someone else has. When you are looking for love (or someone), it's like you can't find it anywhere, but as soon as you get someone, than everyone else wants you because, like I said above, everyone wants what they can't have.
