These are fresh. Picked from my garden.

Freeze them. We grow them as well, and every year we pick them, leave a few out to use and then throw the rest in a freezer baggie (whole). We have fresh jalapenos, habeneros & cayenne all year long. Don't worry too much about shelf life. . .they will last as long as it takes you to eat them.

no... yet on a dare one time we mixed all of the warm sauces in our abode and downed them. I, the white lady, beat out over my then hispanic acquaintances. They have been gasping for breath. I, with my marvelous appearing skills, acted thoroughly unaffected. brag rights. we've been all youngsters... 12 or thirteen

the same way you would keep (almost) all other veggies fresh: refridgerate them!
besides that: dry or freeze

room temperature not wet place or where mold can grow.. cool place.. tho .. on a rack not on a plastic surface
