some people have the ability to foresee certian events in the future. so maybe it is true, maybe it isnt. you determine your destiny . the cards may put you on another path that is not your destiny. so i would say not to put any merit of what the cards have to say unless it is something that you want to happen. if you desire the outcome of what the cards have to say . then you can make his reading become true, just because you believed.

I used to be kind of into occult things years ago. Palm reading, tarot cards, Ouija, handwriting, etc. I am a devout follower of Jesus now, and charismatic.
When I read cards for a certain lady, which she had me do every couple of weeks, she would really go by that, ya know?
My sister got into a short and very bad marriage cuz the Ouija board said she should marry this sick man.
Palm reading has some things that you can see about a person's health that are okay to do. And some things that are foreseen do seem to happen that way.
Now,,, some say that there are spirits that have to do with some of these things, and I do believe that. I believe that there is a spirit world, and that some spirits are faithful to God and some are deceiving rebels. It was not true that my sister should have married that guy, and she suffered a lot.
I believe that some people do 'know' things in a way that is not just natural.
But some of it,, people who are seers and stuff,,, are really paying attention to cues that you give them, as well as anything else. Your breathing changes, your tone of voice changes, your facial color changes, and they are very sensitive to that.
I don't do any of those things any more. but I still have a gift. I submit it to God totally, because He knows all, and is the one to decide what we should know,,, and trying to find out in ways that are outside of His will is not in our best interest.

Some people claim that "Psychics" can tell some things about your future through cards, but not a vivid clear future. Only like the first letter of your spouse when your married, or something like that. I would imagine that if this kit was something you got from a store, or ordered from an ad you saw, it probably doesn't work, but i'm not sure. Give it a shot, ask your friend about it.

Absolutily not!
The statements are so generallised that about 50% of the people will get the right answer. For example...
You are happy
But sometime you get mad
You have problems at school
Because such statements have so many cases of agreement; then when many are asked, it is unlikily that they will all be wrong and so it will seem as though the card man is psycick.
This is how they get your money and it is all scam.
Your future is your to do with what you want.

I myself read tarot frequently, and own a deck, although i never take it completely seriously. I do think that when you truly believe in something, it will become real simply because perception is reality.
Also, I disagree with the misinformed opinion some of your answerers have that cards are the Christian devil's work. Tarot cards first prominently appeared in the Middle Ages, and the first known Tarot deck is from the fourteenth century. Know one knows the exact cultural origin of these cards, but we do know that the modern playing card deck is derived from tarot. So anyone who believes that Tarot is evil must consequently believe that a game of Solitaire or "War" is evil, or they do not hold entirely to their belief.
I personally enjoy Tarot because it is a way through which I can explore cultures of the past.

There is two methods of "Divining" - the political method which is very well seen in the world, and the actual method which is much more difficult to come by.
The political method relies on reading body language, and being a good people person with a decent grasp of the world of acting. The idea is to use remarks, sentences, things, which have proven over time to be completely dumb fool. Example "Tommorow someone will say something very good, which will change the way you see life." - the rest of your day you'll keep looking out for what that one person will say, and as soon as someone says something half important your brain will grab it, analyse it, and rationalize it to fit your needs.
The other method is usually found in children or people whom are spiritually open minded - there's a lot of people on the other side of the social bubble of America that believe in the fact that there is no such thing as "God" but instead that "God" meant to be the universe, (read scripture about how god is everywhere and everything, etc) - and much like praying, the universe will give you exactly what you need if you desire it.
It sounds like balony to alot of people, but again, to the very few that actually believe and have faith in the fact that the universe aligns itself - imagine how your body calls for your attention when there's you stub your toe - a person or culture can grab the attention of the universe by calling out for it.
With years of faith and practice, you can "grow that muscle" were you can open up, sit down, and have the person use you as a medium to find what's necessary in the universe and attempt a manifestation. A lot of times children can pull it off because they haven't been molested by the world of humans.
Anyway, that's the two sides - most people find it balony and a political game of words, which honestly, a lot of it is because people are trying to make a quick buck. There is still however people out in the world that belong on the opposite side, they're just not usually open for business because to them it's not a business, but a method of life.

It's fun to believe in those things. I'm pretty sure that you're still skeptikal even though the fortune teller was accurate, but hey If it makes you happy believing in those things, go for it, don't let others tell you otherwise.

I tend to agree with I-o-d-tiger... there is a spiritual realm and the devil and demons have a limited knowledge of future events. This, while sometimes accurate, is a very dangerous game.
