room- the dorm (or other place) you stay in, and board- the "food" they feed you... unfortunately you will be paying way too much for this. enjoy!

it means dorms that are more than likely falling down around your feet and spaghetti that is only half-cooked, will make you want to rent your own apartment really bad, and it will be worth the extra money, trust me. find a trusty roomate though. enjoy!
