Gin has just about the same alcohol content as any other liquor. A shot is a shot, 2 shots is 2 shot, theres no way to tell what effect this will have on you unless you know how many drinks you have had before, and what effect that had on you.
Gin mixed with juice or fruit sparkling water is delicous and suprisingly easy to consume, you will forget there is alcohol in it so be careful.

50% gin, 50% OJ will give you a little kick. 2 will indeed. Gin is typically 80 proof, give or take a little. That's what most alcohol is too. For me, and I like to drink :) , I am more affected when I drink booze that I am not used to. I NEVER drink tequilla, so a little goes a long way...

First of all, it depends on the amount of alcohol, body weight, gender, food in stomach, and all kinds of other factors that are associated with tolerance and drunkeness and BAC.
I absolutely hate gin. I can't even smell the stuff without getting nauseous. And I'll drink anything else. It's the worst tasting stuff ever. Use it in some sort of a mixed drink (at your own risk).

Gin is normally distilled from 14-15 botanicals. Alcohol content is about the same as cognac and whiskey. So, effects is about the same UNLESS you are allergic to some of the botanicals.

If you are not a drinker, a shot or two will hit you pretty hard. When it's mixed with juice, it tastes good and you will want to drink more. That's how you get messed up. Remember hard alcohol is between 70-100% proof.
