Christians are no more gullible than anyone else. If anything they're less gullible. A person's religion has no effect on how likely they are to believe something with no proof. Besides, although there is no definitive proof of either Creation or Evolution right now, the evidence is pointing more to creation, or at least intelligent design than evolution. The biologists keep saying that their theory works, yet the physicists (Christian or otherwise) keep telling them that it simply isn't possible.

If you do any research into DNA, RNA, and right and left handed amino acids, you will see that the chances of the 'Big Bang' creating a protein, let alone a cell (FAR more complex), are about 1 in 10^400 ( 1 : 10 followed by 400 zeros). Nearly all mathemeticians agree that anything with the odds of 1 in 10^40 (1 : 10 followed by 40 zeros) will never occur. This means that the odds of the big bang creating life are 10^360 (that's a 'googol googol googol novemdecillion') times less likely than impossible.

Simply put, secular mathematics and biology says that there is NO WAY IN HELL that the big bang could create life.

It would be about as likely as a tornado sweeping through a junkyeard and assembling a Boeing 747 out of the rubble.

So, it follows by logical order that non-Christians are far more gullible, since they believe in a significantly more far-fetched and unplausible origin of life than Christians.

The question should be asked, why are people liars, not that Christians are gullible. Why place the blame on the victims of scams? Would you blame the murder victim rather than the killer? Christians are human beings, just like every body else. Why are you such a bigot? I guess it is PC to attack Christians with such stupid and ignorant questions. Before long, people once again are going to be feeding Christians to the lions, if this bigotry keeps up.

Of COURSE they're gullible. After all, they believe in Christianity... the biggest scam in history. Christianity is nothing more than a criminal business enterprise. In fact, it is the world's longest running and most successful Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) scam. The product they are selling is the illusion of 'salvation'... and the 'pay plan' doesn't kick in until after you're dead. Meanwhile the victims (having been deceived into believing that it is their God-given duty) are out there busily recruiting MORE victims. What a racket! FORTUNATELY, it only works on those who are gullible enough, and sufficiently lacking in critical thinking skills, to fall for it. UNfortunately, THAT accounts for about 75% of the population of the USA. (There are a lot more people who DON'T know how to think properly than there are people who DO know how to think properly.) That is why there are a lot more religious people in the USA than there are 'Free-thinkers'... including Atheists. Also, Christians are generally too dense to realize that proselytizing (spreading the 'good news') is a key element of the Christian MLM MARKETING PLAN, which was instituted after Christianity lost the political power that had previously allowed them to simply torture and kill anybody who did not comply. Now, they obliviously try to just pester and annoy people to death, through persistent obnoxiousness. If you stop to think about it, you will realize that Christians are very much like the Borg, on Star Trek Next Generation: "You will be assimilated. Resistance is futile." I would not be surprised to learn that thoughts of Christianity provided the 'creative spark' for the Borg concept.

Interestingly, statistics on supernatural beliefs count the USA on a par with backward, developing Third World nations, rather than among modern, advanced industrial powers.

I think if atheist met every week and gave tons of money away then crooks would target them also. Since atheist don't do that it really doesn't make sense to compare the two groups. If we had asked for proof of everything before we invested or time money and efforts there would be no U.S.A. Also many of the hospitals and universities would not exist. So while a few may get taken from time to time, we should also look at the benefits of Christian generosity.

Satan is very good at making you feel 'weak' if you must rely on a spiritual being to function in life. He is very good at fueling man's desire to be dominant, powerful, greedy, lustful etc.etc.

It is for this reason, that man finds himself trusting his own personal strength, over that of God.

Even if we could somehow logically conclude that accepting belief in something you cannot scientifically prove as 'gullible,' the Christians are no worse off.

Even if God didn't exist...Christians still live good lives. Strong morals, ethics, family relations, constant discretion, awareness.. all of these things are positive, that would benefit any human, believer or non-believer.

Notice, most non-believers, especially these days, lack some, if not all of those qualities.

And we wonder why the world today is on a downward spiral of doom?

Exactly, who are "Chrisians"? Guess, we have a spell check problem here. Can someone from Yahoo! look into this please! Excuse me for the sarcasm.

Thanks for link that provides extensive information on the fraud plaguing the church. The problem I believe is "choice" and it has nothing to do with Christ and His teachings. And to be sure, He has never preached religion. Human nature is such...we are susceptible to do that which is not right/ acceptable in the sight of God. Why oh why did we ever have the freedom to choose what we want to do? Fraudulent dealings will never go unnoticed and even if they sneak past our knowledge and understanding...the Judgment Day can never be escaped.

A lot of Christians are so different than what the Bible tells them to be. So many are different from each other, also. That's like asking if any other religion is gullible, because there are different types and personalities in all religions.

I assume you are trying to ask about Christians?
I would have to say to a degree, you are taught to look for the goodness in people. If you have gained there trust through something they belive in with all of their heart "faith" yes,, it would be easy to be gullible at that point.

Do you expect your health care worker to hurt you on purpose?? Absolutely NOT! Why? because you "believe" that there job is to help you. You should not have to be on the look out for these situations in life. Yes it can be easy to be gullible.

Its not just some Christians but anyone who wants so badly to believe in their preconcieved ideas.

Take for instance evolutionists. They want to believe that they are the offspring of germs so badly that they go out and make a man/ape skull and the entire science community believes it is an authentic transitional form of a man/ape.

We are all gullible in our own way.

Of course they're gullible. They believe the world was populated by just a few people. In the Bible it states, "Let us make man in our image." It's plural. Evey religion has been tampered with to keep us all in the dark. I honestly believe that anyone who claims only one religion is gullible.
