how many out there are faking their mental illness just to get pills or be on social securtiy benefits? i know there is alot of you! but you wouldn,t admit it.

actually i was diagnose schizoeffective years ago i ,m sorry i didn,t mean to upset you who are really ill i just knew a few people who did fake it.

i have suffer ever sence i had a hystermony it has done so much damage to my nerves i just dont see how me myself could put on a act as you call it

1 to 2 percent are on mental disability at any given time. The criteria are pretty hard to fake, actually. In fact, our rate of disability is about the same as disability in most cultures suggesting that either you think mental illness is feigned, across cultures, or you think the people on disability are pretty legit.
Most of the pills can be gotten pretty easily and do not involve a great deal of faking...but certainly some do exaggerate symptoms of anxiety and sleep problems in order to get "mother's helpers" and daddy's, too.

It's not impossible to fake a mental illness to the extent that you can get disability benefits for it, but it is damn hard. I'd say 95% of people receiving benefits for a mental disorder actually have a mental disorder. There's so much discrimination and insensitivity towards these people to begin with. Please don't add to it.

well I aint faking it i am a real nutcase! And i dont give a damn who knows it. And as far as trying to get pills i dont even like to take the ones they make me take! Damn a bucnh of pills and as far as social security they can stick that up there azz to!! I am trying to get disability but not for being a Nutcase!! I have exteram Vertigo and cant do anything without getting sick!! HeII i cant even have sex with my wife without getting sick from this stupid dizzyness!! And if you want to try to fake it then more power to ya. But i don't have to fake i know im stupid i cant even sit around the house without getting dizzy. Meybe you think its a joke but i ain't laughing !! look if u can fake some of what ive seen then u should be an actor cause ive worked in mental hospitals as a volunteer and i dont think anyone can fake that......

Madd people do that i know a few kids in my school that went to the Dr and faked freek outs in school just to get meds and sell them for a few bucks a piece. lame.

I knew a guy once that had drug induced paranoid schizophenia and he got a check once a month and went and got all the drugs he could get!!!!
