Even when you think that your friend will never let you down. Not long after that, you find yourself in such a situation. At work, people smiling, but thinking different, people saying things, but meaning something else.
Colleages, friends, instead of being happy for you, whenever you succeed want to bring you down. These are facts you have to live with.
But tell me one thing :
If There wasn't a God, where would we be??
How would we find the strenght to get up each day again?. Day after day ? Look around us, look at the nature, the animals.
All the different kinds of animals with all the beautifull colors.
HOW CAN SOME PEOPLE STILL BELIEVE THAT GOD DOES NOT EXIST ??
Mayby not all is clear enough for us to understand, but I think that here is where FAITH is coming in.
P.S No harm intended for nonbelievers

If something bad happened to you before, it doesn't mean that things are this way in general. Generalizing will never take you ahead, it will only drag you down. I agree, there are people you can not rely on and that will stab you in the back. But that is exactly how you learn to recognize them in the future and keep them away from yourself. We are all had been or will be deceited in our life at least once. But you have to go through that kind of experience because the disappointment will teach you how to recognize and trully appreciate a true friend, or a co-worker. Only after being in the total darkness you will know how to appreciate light. There is no way around it. You learned the bad in people. It makes you a great person because that means that you know how to distiguish the bad from the good. Now that you know how to trully appreciate the good, God will bring people who are more ethical into your life, have faith!, and let the other ones go.

Satan is very good at twisting the minds of individuals until it becomes a twisted mind of a collective.
Notice, the world has become desensitized to many, many things.
The time of humanism is upon us, a belief that man is his own master. The notion of a god is unacceptable.
I do like to wonder sometimes, how many miracles go unnoticed.
You look at the birth of a butterfly and it just makes you think...

I understand what your saying but, I am a sorta non believer. I believe but I don't . I think I do but I dout it alot. anyways I don't think you have to have god to be your reason to get up in the morning or to live. I think if you need him then you do and if you don't then you don't....but I also understand about the let downs all the time...I guess people just aren't meant to be trusted unless you actually know them.

James 1
2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. 4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That man should not think he will receive anything from the Lord; 8he is a double-minded man, unstable in all he does.

Your folly lies in the fact that you have not accepted that we, as humans, are just meaning-making machines, nothing more.
