I ate my calorie needs and i did some exercise and lost 1 pound, would it be possible for that to be muscle weight? I want to gain lean muscles not burn them.

When you gain weight some of it will be muscle and some of it will be fat. Likewise, when you lose weight some of it will be muscle and some of it will be fat.

The secret is to be careful with your diet in both cases. If you are doing a cutting phase diet and lose a pound of muscle for every 3 pounds of fat you lose, that is acceptable. Likewise, when you are in the bulking phase if you gain 3 pounds of muscle and gain a pound of fat as well, you are still doing okay. Add the 2 phases together and you have lost 2 pounds of fat and gained 2 pounds of muscle. You end up weighing the same as you did before, but you are leaner and more muscular - you will look thinner.

So as long as your protein intake is reasonably good, don't worry that you might have lost some muscle, most likely it was fat that was lost.

In one day your muscle and fat weights aren't going to change. Give it a week before you weigh yourself. Most likely, this is water weight. If you weigh yourself in the morning before you eat, you will be lighter than after dinner. There are some other changes - like you store more water in your body if your diet is high in carbs. Don't worry, if you exercise the same as before, you won't lose mucsle. If you want to gain muscle though, you will have to exercise more (than you did before)
