In some cultures, black cats are actually considered good luck. I am a total sucker for all black or black & white cats. (My bf has to drag me out of the adoption sections of the pet stores when there are B&W kitties). My aunt has one of each, and I have two black & whites. We make sure they are all safely indoors on halloween, of course! Neither of us would trade our beasties for anything- they are the best!

I have two black cats one in the house and one outside. The one inside had been with us for 14 years. She has been giving us love and pleasure since the day she cane into our lives. Mine had been good luck.

It is non-scence to believe black cats bring ill luck! In some countries they are considered lucky. Black cats are elegant creatures.

Nope, I have a solid black cat myself that I found 10 years ago. The mother was a stray in the apartment complex I lived in and she and his litter mates were black too.

no black cats arent bad luck i have one my self as a pet the whole thing with black cats being bad luck is just a superstition its not true black cats ARENT BAD LUCK...

no i dont believe black cats are bad luck. i think superstitions should be ignored. some superstitions are from uneducated people in the pioneer days.

my parents have a black cat that we bought in 1981 and the thing is still alive!!! I don't think she is bad luck at all, they just NEVER die
