this is now a Georgia law. I saw it on a billboard and it has been on commercials. my sister asked me if it applies and i said i did not know and would not think so but i thought i'd ask on here. dont get hateful it's just a question

Why on earth would you think that?

People who have a physical disability have a tough enough time without having others wonder if they have to ride in child seats as adults. Please open your mind and have some empathy. Most people with disabilities (for the sake of argument I am including little people) have to have things custom designed or modified anyway, so NO it does not apply.

in State Law that go into effect as of July 1 st Under the new law children under age six will be required to be in a car seat or booster seat appropriate for their height and weight and used according to the manufacturer's instructions. The new law also requires children under six to ride in the rear seat only...

I think you misread something, if the rule was 4'9" then a lot of normal adults and teenagers would be in booster seats

where did you read this 4'9 rule? I think boosters should be used by anyonewho needs them to make the seat belt fit properly - across the chest and not under the chin

I believe these rules typically have an age limitation placed on them as well. i.e. 4'9", 80lbs, or age 7

i think it's a weight thing too. so it either 4'9 or like 80 pounds. i guess if you're less than 80's pounds you're very eligible.
