Mine pretty much does everything in the above list, plus a few really weird ones.

1) She likes to suck oranges. I've been told that cats hate citrus. Mine will hop onto the counter, bite into an orange slice and suck all the juice out. She does it with lemons too.

2) Stare up at the ceiling for hours, until I look up too. Then she flounces off all satisfied.

3) Will meow softly late at night. If I ignore her, she eventually stops. If I move or make a noise, she takes this as a sign that I'm awake and need to pet her.

4) Ambush my ankles in the early morning when I'm walking from bedroom to kitchen. Every morning. Since she was a kitten 11 yrs ago.

Mine does these same things:chase her tail, sit on my keyboard when I'm on the computer, wag her tail when happy, greet me at the door when I come home, and attack my feet when I sleep.

One strange thing is, she MAJORLY loves to play with Q-tips. I think she thinks the fuzzy part is an animal tail. She will even get into the garbage looking for q-tips. Sometimes she fetches one up onto my bed, then SHE throws it down as if it's escaping from her, then she jumps down after it, over and over!

She nuzzles her head against the cabinet the cat food is in if she wants some.

She used to climb up in the empty cupboard up over my fridge!

And when I get ready for bed, I get in, and I call,"Gracie? Come up?" She will usually run in and jump up on my stomach, because she wants a cat massage :-) -- I rub her neck and shoulders.

She LOVES to chase bugs that get into the house. And she absolutely HATES being in her cat carrier.

My cat has done and still does some of those things in the past. She likes to chew on the corners of my books that I am trying to read (I think it is because she thinks I am not paying attention to her). She also attacks feet when sleeping and has done "drive byes" on my feet at night and aslo during the day. Also, she will sleep on my chest but usually does it by my side and follows me around the house.

My Katy Jane does most of your list, plus she absolutely loves to ride in the truck. Her nose gets all red, her eyes get large like saucers, she meows, and meows, and meows, and looks like she is having the time of her life.

When she is brought back into the house, she sits at the front door and meows as if to say "I want to for another ride"

She will sit there at least an hour before she decides we are not going to listen to her :)

Sounds like a normal and happy cat. Mine is the same way, but he keeps his claws to himself.....
Most cats act similarly. Some have a few of their own unique things they do (mine mews whenever someone sneezes or coughs, as if to say "bless you").
Cats are pretty high maintenance if you want them to be happy and healthy, and not pick up bad habits.
I just treat my cat as I would want to be treated if I were him.
I could describe him as naughty, needy, nosy, noisy (he has a lot to say) and I love everything about him.....

My adopted cat, Brutus, talks every time someone walks by. He sounds like a dog, going 'raou raou raou' instead of a normal meow. He's so cute!
My other cat, Jasper, likes to be spanked. She raises her butt in the air and starts rubbing against everything. And yes, she's spayed.

I have four cats right now and between the four of them I have all your bases covered. PLUS a few of my own.
Previously, I had a cat who bit my arm whenever I yelled at my son. If I yelled at my husband she didn't care, but I was NOT allowed to raise my voice to her buddy, my son. LOL
I had a cat who would station herself at the door around 4:00pm every day waiting for my husband to get home from work between 4 and 4:30.
I had a cat who made snowballs and chased them around by batting them.
I had a big cat named Punkin who ran over our other cats in the yard, just twilled and CHARGED.
I had a cat who spent her early years in a cage and had the hunting instincts but not the training, so she brought home oak leaves. She didn't like maple leaves...just oak leaves...left them on the back porch like most cats would leave dead mice...
Your question has reminded me of quite a few wonderful memories of kitties gone by, and I thank you. :)

Oh yes! All the time lol, it makes me jump up with fright and say sorry (cats name) and then I realise it is just one of the cats rubber balls that I am stepping on. It is so funny when that happens! lol

I had a cat that would jump from the floor to my shoulder. Cute trick at first, but as it grew heavier, it didn't work so well. I'd be mixing up something in the kitchen when a 25 pound cat would land on my shoulder. As she started to slip off, she would dig in her claws.
